Due to the nature of our roles, candidates must be a UK resident with permanent UK working rights, residing within commutable distance to Nottingham. Please note that we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take ownership of three websites, ensuring they are visually appealing, functional and user-friendly.
  • Manage & maintain the eCommerce store, ensuring smooth transactions, secure payment processing, and an excellent customer experience.
  • Regular collaboration with third party agencies to oversee website management, reporting, and development, (including management of issue and development requests, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.)
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the business’ requirements and the impacts to the site architecture, including accessibility needs, partner requirements, and portal integrations.
  • Utilise GA, Google Tag Manager, and other platforms to analyse performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implement effective strategies.
  • Take ownership of the SEO across each site, ensuring all content, including product listings, are optimised to improve searchability.
  • Manage the live chat functionality and work closely with the sales teams to ensure it is optimised, monitored and reported on.
  • Maintain website security measures in line with compliance requirements, collaborating with the appropriate stakeholders to ensure complete visibility of web security, updates, backups and addressing vulnerabilities as needed.
  • Work with internal teams on any development and integration requirements, project managing and ensuring seamless deployments.
  • Oversee the annual web maintenance budget and ensure efficient allocation of resource and support from all parties/tools.
  • Work closely with the marketing and design teams on the implementation of website updates, promotions, merchandising opportunities, and new content.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Previous Website Management experience, preferably within an e-commerce environment.
  • Proficiency in managing Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and other Google platforms.
  • Previous experience working within a CMS e.g Wordpress, Wix, etc.
  • Knowledge of website security and experience in managing payment tools on e-commerce platforms.
  • Previous experience of managing chatbots/live chats would be beneficial.
  • Ability to work cohesively with 3rd party agencies, and strong project management skills.
  • Proactive & detail-oriented approach, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Experience in Customer Portal management is desirable but not essential
