The Portfolio Support/PMO Analyst will provide support to the Tech Portfolio Manager by providing information and insight across a portfolio of work within Eon Next. Working within a lean portfolio process ensuring initiatives align to key business objectives, and support continuous demand and review.

What you'll be doing:

* Support the administration of Tech and Data backlogs ensuring these provide sufficient information for prioritisation, and align to company strategy
* Support quarterly planning activities and help administrate a central change board
* Work with the Product, Engineering and Data Leadership team to understand progress of key initiatives against agreed objectives
* Facilitate the impact assessment process for new demand within Tech
* Supports with a lean governance and best practice model through, financial process support, risk & issues management, reporting on key performance indicators, milestones and tracking leading/lagging indicators
* Support in capacity planning and estimating
* Provide ongoing transparency of portfolio performance through comms and data
* Work with third parties to track outcomes and dependencies relating to key initiatives, maintaining a central 3rd party action tracker

Essential Skills
* 3+ years in a project / portfolio support role including financial management
* 2+ years in a IT governance / planning role
* 2+ years experience with Asana, Jira or other project/portfolio management tooling
* Excellent inter-personal skills, to include:
o Strong written and verbal communication ability
o Consultancy skills (e.g. workshop facilitation, presentation skills, creativity)
* Influencing skills (e.g. stakeholder management, negotiation skills, assertiveness)
* Ability to interpret data, identify potential risks, issues or opportunities and present this in a way that facilitates effective decision making.
* Proactive with the ability to work independently
* Proficient skills in Asana

Desirable
* Experience of working in a fast paced Product environment and understanding product methodologies
* Good understanding and previous successful application of lean governance
frameworks and controls
* Strong planning skills, ability to manage multiple activities concurrently and commercial awareness.
* A pro-active working manner, organised with a high level of credibility and commitment, good judgement and attention to detail.
* Software/IT - excellent knowledge of Google applications, Miro
