Health & Safety Administrator | Lowdham, Nottinghamshire| Permanent | Up to £35,000Cherry Professional are looking for an experienced H&S Administrator. You will be responsible for analysing and assessing workplace practices, identifying potential hazards, and recommending corrective measures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Through data collection, risk assessments, and incident investigations, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective safety strategies.Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the workplace and recommend measures to mitigate risks.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine their root causes and recommend preventive measures.
  • Creating RAMS specific to the organisation services.
  • Develop and deliver health and safety training programs for employees, ensuring they are aware of potential risks and know how to work safely.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of the workplace to identify safety hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Stay informed about changes in health and safety regulations and standards and ensure the organization's compliance.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in safety processes and practices and recommend and implement corrective actions.
  • RIDDOR
  • Maintain the organization’s ISO accreditation, prepare for annual audits with external auditors
Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience of using SharePoint.
  • Experience working within a H&S setting previously
  • NEBOSH
  • Computer literate in software such as Microsoft Outlook Express, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word. (Fulcrum, Office 365, Bolster an advantage)
  • GCSE / A Level
  • Degree educated (any).
  • IOSH Managing Safely
