Occupational Hygiene Consultant

My client is a prominent consultancy based in the United Kingdom that specialises in providing comprehensive testing, inspection, and certification services to companies within the construction, infrastructure, and health and safety sectors. They are dedicated to providing remedial advice and technical expertise to assist their clients in enhancing their performance and gaining a competitive edge in the market.

Requirements:

  • A BSc and/or an MSc in a related technical discipline and accredited membership of BOHS.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with a methodical approach to work.
  • Possession of a full UK driving licence.
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft packages.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough environmental assessments to evaluate health risks and hazards related to noise and vibration exposure in various settings.
  • Documenting environmental procedures, processes, and tasks associated with noise and vibration to facilitate meticulous record-keeping and analysis.
  • Providing clear and accurate information, advice, and training to stakeholders within the environmental sector to promote awareness and compliance with relevant regulations and sustainability initiatives.
  • Recommending and implementing organisational changes and facility designs aimed at minimising noise and vibration impacts on the environment and human health.
  • Utilising specialised equipment to accurately measure and sample noise and vibration levels in the environment, ensuring precise data collection.
