The HSE Manager will be a fundamental part of the leadership team for a SME industrial manufacturing business based near Nottingham. With a strong behavioural safety track record, you will be responsible for health, safety and compliance across the site.

A growing business with c100 people on site, this Nottingham based organisation produce a market leading product and have ambitious plans for further growth in 2025 and 26. They are committed to creating high-quality products whilst maintaining a strong focus on environmental sustainability and health and safety.

Description

Reporting into the Operations Director for site, the HSE Manager will be a proactive influence on safety standards, behaviours and systems across a complex operation.

Day to day activity will include:

  • Drive a best in class health and safety culture across site.
  • Lead compliance processes working closely with other systems leads.
  • Monitor and report on HSE performance, making recommendations for improvements.
  • Lead incident investigations, identifying root causes and preventive measures.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders on HSE matters.

Profile

A successful HSE Manager will have:

  • A strong NEBOSH qualification
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the Industrial / Manufacturing sector.
  • Excellent knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
