Description
Reporting into the Operations Director for site, the HSE Manager will be a proactive influence on safety standards, behaviours and systems across a complex operation.
Day to day activity will include:
- Drive a best in class health and safety culture across site.
- Lead compliance processes working closely with other systems leads.
- Monitor and report on HSE performance, making recommendations for improvements.
- Lead incident investigations, identifying root causes and preventive measures.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders on HSE matters.
Profile
A successful HSE Manager will have:
- A strong NEBOSH qualification
- Proven experience in a similar role within the Industrial / Manufacturing sector.
- Excellent knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
