Community Care Assistant
A UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle is ESSENTIAL.
Permanent role - Not any agency contract!
Location: Nottingham, Gedling (NG4)
Pay Rate: 11.60 per hour (12.30 per hour for weekend shifts)
Travel Allowance: 45p per mile
Paid Travel Time: 16p per minute
Shifts:
- Morning Shift: 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- Evening Shift: 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Flexibility to work either one shift or both (split shifts) is available.
Weekend Availability: You will be required to work every other weekend (1 in 2 weekends).
About the Role:
We are looking for A dedicated Community Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes on a full time basis. You will help service users maintain their independence and dignity while assisting with personal care, medication, meals, and social activities. Your role will also involve supporting their physical and emotional well-being, ensuring comfort, safety, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care, including showering, dressing, and helping clients with mobility.
- Administer medication as per individual care plans.
- Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs.
- Support clients with social and physical activities to promote independence.
- Monitor health and report any concerns.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, their families, and health professionals.
Requirements:
- A Driving Licence & access to a vehicle
- Right to Work in the UK
- Flexibility to work the shifts outlined above, including one weekend out of two.
- Previous experience in care or a similar role is beneficial but not essential.
- Willingness to participate in mandatory training when required.
