As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide tailored compassionate care primarily in the homes of individuals, supporting them to live independently and with dignity within their communities. Our settings vary widely from individual homes requiring round-the-clock support to sleep-ins, day and night shifts, and potential settings such as residential homes, hospital environments, and temporary residences.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centered care in various settings, including home and school.
  • Support with personal care and daily activities.
  • Tailor care plans to individual needs for safety and comfort.
  • Ensure clear communication and maintain accurate records with families and teams

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Preferred NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Level 2 acceptable).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar healthcare settings and experience in support with complex needs and brain injuries.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Training in Autism Awareness, Medication, Epilepsy, Professional Boundaries, Mental Capacity Act, Safeguarding Children Level 3.
