We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Refrigeration Field Service Engineer.

They are a specialist in industrial refrigeration, heating, and sustainable engineering solutions for a wide array of industries including food, beverage, dairy, and oil & gas.

The successful applicant will have gained experience in cooling and heating installations, custom-engineered systems, compressors & compressor packages, chillers, controls, and heat pumps.

Role responsibilities include:

* Perform service and maintenance tasks and compile comprehensive reports on observations.* Conduct spare parts installation and service inspections following established procedures.* Travel for job-related purposes as necessary.* Execute investigations and troubleshooting as needed, providing written documentation of findings.* Execute installation tasks as required.* Perform testing and commissioning of equipment, ensuring all relevant documentation is completed.* Maintain safe working practices at all times and adhere to Health & Safety policies.* Provide continuous feedback on market conditions for overall business benefit.* Conduct all activities in a way that ensures the health and safety of oneself and colleagues.* Represent the company on-site with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.* Foster strong relationships with customers.* Contribute to business growth in line with specified targets.* Identify opportunities within the customer base for service sales.* Develop relationships with prospective customers to generate new business opportunities.

Your Profile / Qualifications

* Mechanical / Electrical engineering background* Previous experience in servicing / maintaining machinery.* City & Guilds 2079 qualification essential* Preferred City & Guilds 2078 (Ammonia)* Strong understanding of Industrial and Commercial Heating & Refrigeration* A high standard of technical expertise in various types of machinery.* Natural solutions provider.* Product/systems knowledge* Knowledge of industry developments* Ability to build long term relationships
