Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to work within 30 miles of Nottingham. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a client facing individual that is comfortableworking in a client facing environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot issues with air conditioning units, heating systems, and ventilation systems.
- Overseeing planned PPM/compliance works and keeping the client informed of site activities.
- Assisting contractors and sub-contractors and ensure compliance with all statutory obligations.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on each job.
- Qualified at a City & Guilds level with experience within a maintenance / facilities management environment.
- Proficient in equipment repair and maintenance of HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with air conditioning systems and their operational requirements.
- Ability to read and understand schematics for effective troubleshooting.
- Leadership skills to guide less experienced technicians during installations or repairs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.
