We have some fantastic opportunities for 1:1 Teaching Assistants to work within mainstream Primary Schools across Nottinghamshire and surrounding area. Providing individualised support and assistance to a specific students who may have specific SEN needs.
Supply roles can offer you a flexible lifestyle where you can choose the days you work, and help to develop experience across a number of different schools, classes and year groups.
The ideal candidate for this role would be a talented, compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant, with a passion and willing to support students no matter what they need.
Requirements:
* Level 2/3 Support Teaching or Learning (or ratio equivalent.)
* Previous experience working with children in a 1:1 capacity, preferably in an educational setting
* Strong empathy and understanding of individual student need
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with the student, staff, and parents.
* Patience, resilience, and the ability to provide emotional support when needed.
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the student and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
* Knowledge of relevant teaching methodologies and resources for supporting individual students
