Teaching Assistant | Nottingham | 95 - 105 per day | Day-to-Day to Long-Term Contracts Available

Long Term Futures working with a number of secondary schools and academies in Nottingham, looking to appoint Teaching Assistants to support students on a 1-1 and small group basis. All roles provide an excellent opportunity for those looking to build their experience in education, offering day-to-day placements with the potential for long-term contracts based on performance and school needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1-to-1 and small group support to students, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring they can engage effectively in lessons.
  • Assist teachers in managing classroom behaviour.
  • Adapt learning materials to suit the individual needs of students, helping them reach their full potential.
  • Create a positive relationship with students, encouraging their personal and academic development.
  • Support students in understanding and following school rules.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in an educational setting, ideally with students with SEN or behavioural challenges.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a passion for supporting young people.
  • A current DBS check and two professional references are required for this role (we can support with this).
