Long Term Futures are currently working with a welcoming secondary school in the Nottingham (NG6) area, rated 'Good' by OFSTED. The school has a strong reputation for supporting students' learning and development and is now looking for a confident, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This role includes a blend of 1:1 SEN support and small group interventions across a variety of subjects.

Main Duties will include:

  • Providing 1:1 support to students with special educational needs
  • Leading or assisting in small group interventions
  • Helping students remain focused and engaged during lessons
  • Supporting class teachers with lesson delivery and behaviour management
  • Working closely with the SENDCO and wider staff team to ensure every student has access to the support they need

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have relevant SEN experience within an education setting
  • Be confident supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Be flexible and able to work collaboratively with teaching and support staff
  • Possess excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude
