This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a vital housing service while enjoying the flexibility of hybrid working.Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a customer-focused lettings service, ensuring high tenant satisfaction and addressing the needs of vulnerable service users.
  • Manage empty properties efficiently to minimise rental income loss and maintain sustainable tenancies.
  • Implement the Allocations Policy and procedures to match customer choice with available housing, supporting diverse and vulnerable communities.
  • Conduct property visits, including sign-ups, pre-termination inspections, accompanied viewings, and transfer inspections.
  • Handle enquiries from agencies, partners, and customers, providing accurate advice on housing options and the HomeLink scheme.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners, including estate management, repairs, and rents teams.
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience as a Lettings Officer or in a similar housing management role.
  • Knowledge of allocations, lettings, and property management processes.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to support vulnerable service users.
  • Proactive and organised approach to managing empty properties and lettings.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
