HR Administrator•    Job Type: Full time 37.5 hours 8.30am – 5 pm office based•    Location: Heanor•    Salary: £23,809Reed is seeking an HR Administrator to provide essential administrative support to our HR Assistant and HR Manager for a long term established client. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient and accurate HR operations within our organisation. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic environment.

Day-to-day of the role:•    Provide administrative support to the HR Assistant and HR Manager, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on time.•    Update and maintain HR systems, databases, and spreadsheets to ensure accurate records.•    Manage the filing of personnel information, ensuring records are accurate and up-to-date.•    Coordinate all training bookings in line with the Safety Critical Training Matrix and additional training as directed, ensuring records and certifications are updated and stored correctly.•    Maintain and update training records, liaising with line managers to resolve any training or certification queries.•    Coordinate the health surveillance process in liaison with Line Managers and the Occupational Health provider, ensuring all relevant employees receive necessary surveillance and accurate records are kept.•    Assist in the recruitment process, including organising interviews and assessments, maintaining and distributing CVs, and  handling other recruitment-related correspondence.•    Monitor and record contractor activities and support the management of leavers from the business.•    Assist with additional activities as required by the HR Manager or HR Assistant.

Required Skills & Qualifications:•    Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an HR department.•    Strong organisational and time management skills.•    Excellent attention to detail.•    Proficiency in MS Office and experience with HR databases and systems.•    Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
