The Role
As the Head of People, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the company. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will develop and implement a people strategy that not only aligns with the business objectives but also fosters a culture of engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with the company's objectives, vision, and values.
- Collaborate with departmental heads to understand staffing needs and plan for future requirements in line with growth plans.
- Oversee the entire talent acquisition process, ensuring high-quality recruitment, induction, and training for all new employees.
- Lead and develop cultural initiatives that enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Coordinate initiatives for employee development, performance management, and succession planning.
- Act as a key contact for employee relations issues, driving a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with current and upcoming employment laws and regulations.
- Oversee HR operations, including policies, procedures, and record-keeping.
Key Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role within the food manufacturing sector.
- Leadership: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record in driving cultural change.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
- HR Expertise: Deep understanding of HR processes, systems, and best practices, along with a strong grasp of employment laws and regulations.
- Sustainability Focus: Experience in supporting ESG and sustainability initiatives is a plus.
