  • The ideal candidate will have demonstratable HR experience, HR management experience in FMCG or Manufacturing, previous experience in a unionised environment, and ability to provide coaching and guidance to senior managers.

Elevation HR are currently working with a key FMCG client in the Nottingham area, as they look to recruit an Interim HR Manager to be based at their manufacturing and distribution site; on a 6-month fixed term contract, to support the business during the onboarding of a permanent appointment. The Interim HR Manager will be responsible for all site HR activity, working as a strategic partner to the senior leadership team, whilst promoting effective employee and industrial relations and a positive ER culture.As well as: 

  • Ensuring that people and performance are aligned to the daily operational needs of the business
  • Working closely with the GM and site managers on day to day HR including people performance, ER, IR, Occupational Health, recruitment and operational change
  • Identify training and development needs; sourcing and arranging on the job and external training where required
  • Ensuring the effective working relationship with the recognised Unions 
  • End to end management of HR requirements for ethical auditing to include adherence to working time regulations and active support of ethical initiatives

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • Demonstratable experience in a generalist HR role and understanding of best practice; partnering with management teams to deliver against people and/or business strategies
  • HR Management experience gained within FMCG, Manufacturing, logistics type environments, must be used to fast pace and high volume activity.
  • Previous experience working in a unionised environment
  • Minimum of CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent by experience
  • Ability to provide coaching and guidance to senior managers to achieve effective resolution across a full range of people related queries and challenges
