Let’s be honest…

This role won’t make you rich. But if you’re looking for meaningful work that makes a real difference—and the freedom to control your own diary while avoiding long commutes—this could be the one for you.

If you want to be part of something bigger, where you’re shaping a culture that helps people thrive, we’d love to chat.

What’s in it for you?
  • Work-life balance that actually works – You’ll have the flexibility to manage your own time and work remotely when needed.
  • Make an impact – You’ll lead on projects that shape our People Plan, making Futures an even better place to work.
  • No two days are the same – From partnering with senior leaders to driving cultural change, this role keeps you on your toes (in a good way!).
  • Skip the office politics – We’re all about collaboration, transparency, and getting things done.
What you’ll be doing:
  • Leading and motivating a small but mighty People & Culture team.
  • Helping managers build high-performing teams that love where they work.
  • Owning HR strategy and projects like Reward & Recognition, EDI, and Leadership Development.
  • Keeping them legally compliant and ahead of the curve on all things HR.
  • Making sure HR systems and data actually work for them (not the other way around!).
What we’re looking for:
  • CIPD Level 5 or 7 (or equivalent experience handling complex HR cases).
  • A proven HR leader who can juggle strategic and operational work.
  • Someone who’s great with people—a natural influencer and relationship-builder.
  • A problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • A team player who believes HR should be about people, not just policies.
Why them?

A not-for-profit with a big heart, dedicated to supporting people and businesses to succeed. They believe in doing meaningful work and having a positive impact—without burning out.
