  • Work closely with business leaders to support them in the successful execution of our business strategies, in a way that further cultivates our organisational culture with a focus on diversity, inclusion and a respectful workplace.
  • Create the right environment as a champion for HR initiatives, employee advocacy and will support and guide, organisation design, employee development, talent review and succession planning, as applicable.
  • Drive the people strategy and people processes (performance management, leadership and talent development, and succession planning) to ensure that employees’ level of performance and capabilities meet current and future needs of the business.
  • Work with colleagues across the HR team to develop and implement HR processes and policies, that provide a framework for continued business growth and success.
  • Ensure HR metrics are aligned with the business metrics and drive improvement in delivery to support key business initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and counselling regarding legislative, regulatory and compliance issues including company policies, practices, and procedures to achieve business goals and objectives and consistency across business functions.
  • Proactively identify business and HR objectives/expectations; develop, manage, or participate in project teams as appropriate to achieve desired results in a timely manner.
  • Lead and facilitate all employee engagement related initiatives for the company, including but not limited to Gallup Q12, PTOP, apprentice programs, reward and recognition, mentoring and union meetings.
  • Maintain awareness of legislation related to all aspects of human resources and update management as needed.
  • Provide counsel on a broad spectrum of issues and opportunities, including investigation and resolution of employee relations issues.
  • Ensures Human Resources administrative functions are executed efficiently.
HR Advisor Essential Qualifications / Experience / Skills
  • HR experience in a complex organization (ideally within the Manufacturing sector), with diverse cultures and operating environments
  • Significant knowledge of HR policies and processes (e.g., workforce planning and talent management)
  • Strong Change Management experience
HR Advisor Desirable Qualifications / Experience / Skills
  • Ideally CIPD level 5 qualifies or a Chartered member or working towards this
