Our client is looking for an Account Manager, you will be the key point of contact for a diverse portfolio of businesses across Nottingham city centre. Your role will involve engaging with business owners and managers, providing them with valuable insights, and supporting initiatives designed to enhance the local business environment.

To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials:

  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a client-facing role
  • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage and build rapport
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, while also being a team player
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • A positive and adaptable approach to work, with a keen interest in supporting local businesses
  • A passion for Nottingham and a commitment to contributing to its economic growth

Within this position, you’ll also be:

  • Managing a high-volume caseload of businesses, ensuring regular engagement
  • Acting as the first point of contact, providing key information on marketing campaigns and services
  • Maintaining accurate records of visits and interactions using a CRM system
  • Supporting the organisation of business networking events and meetings
  • Working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to enhance city centre initiatives
  • Assisting in event setup and coordination, including occasional evening and weekend shifts

Salary & Working Hours

Salary is £25,400 per annum

Working hours are full time, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week

25 days holiday plus bank holidays & birthday off
