Brook Street are currently recruiting for a HR Support Desk Advisor - Executive Officer level, to work for HM Land Registry.

Full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8 - 4.30.

Office based for 3 days a week
Location- Unity Square, Nottingham
Rate of pay £15.29/hr
Temporary contract till 28/03/24, with potential to extend

As a HR Support Desk Adviser, you will provide professional first-line customer service support to managers and staff on all areas of HR policy, process, and payroll queries. Delivery of the service is from a central office in a contact centre environment, communicating by telephone and email, you will give up to date HR policy guidance across the organisation. You will carry out a variety of HR tasks, including payroll queries and administrative duties.


Main duties:


- Undertake a variety of HR transactional and administrative tasks required throughout the

employee life cycle in an accurate and timely manner, for example, employment changes,

absence management, pay and pensions, retirement and resignations.

  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Provide advice to HMLR employees and Line Managers on HR policies, procedures and payroll queries via the telephone and via email from our centralised contact centre.
  • Work as part of the team and contribute to achieving agreed service levels.
  • Ensure that the Oracle Service Cloud case management system and HR database is maintained and kept up to date.
  • Perform scheduled reporting to support both customers within HR Group and the business.
  • Liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all HR documentation is updated to reflect current HMLR policy and retained in accordance with GDPR.
  • Work on a variety of HR projects and tasks within the HR Support Desk and the wider HR as and when required.
