GreatFind Recruitment is excited to present an outstanding opportunity for a 2nd Line IT Service Desk Analyst to join our client's dynamic team. This full-time, permanent position is based in Nottingham offering a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. Hybrid working - 3 days office, 2 days WFH.

Salary banded 30k to 35k + benefits (27 days annual leave + BH, hybrid working, pension, training and development)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional and experienced 2nd Line Service Desk Analyst / Engineer / Support Engineer to join our growing Service Desk Team.

We are seeking individuals who can demonstrate excellent remote IT support, work effectively with other team members (including assisting junior engineers and supporting 3rd line engineers) and communicate with customers both technically and non-technically.

Candidates should be component in ITIL and service desk methodologies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide IT support across the estate, mainly within a Microsoft Infrastructure.
  • Identify and resolve the root causes of recurring incidents.
  • Take ownership of and resolve support tickets promptly.
  • Drive continuous improvements and deliver optimal IT solutions.
  • Participate in project rollouts, including deploying new devices.
  • Manage time and workload effectively.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with customers.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Experience with Windows Server Core Services (AD, DNS, DHCP, and File Services).
  • Proficiency in using Windows Desktop operating systems within a network environment.
  • Understanding of Office 365 and Email Processes.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check.

Desirable:

  • Experience with SPAM/Web filtering and broadband connectivity.
  • Familiarity with Apple solutions.
  • Experience in an educational IT environment.
  • Previous experience in a field-based role.
