Role: Senior AI Software Engineer TypeScript
Location: Nottingham City Centre, hybrid- twice /week in the office.
Salary: Up to £75k plus benefits, stock options

Looking for what will be their 4thdev (including a hands-on co-founder) you are a senior TypeScript Software Engineer who absolutely loves AI, with big aspirations. You live and breathe your craft: not satiated with your 9-5, you love tinkering with new and emerging tech in your free time and have come to have quite an affection for OpenAI, LLMs, and AI in general, and have been fortunate enough to get to play with it in your job, too- Langchain is a particular favourite!
You know youre a great engineer but feel your talents might be being wasted in your current role, where youre siloed and dont get to flex your creative development muscles anywhere near as much as youd likethat is not the case here.
This is a true tech company- the techisthe business, so youll never be an afterthought: without you and your fellow software builders, the company cant exist!
Youll be treated as a founding member of the team, will have a big say in technical direction, will help build up the team, and be getting your hands dirty with lots of shiny, greenfield development-whats not to love?!
This is a hybrid role, so youll be going into the office twice per week. Itll be a great time to have social interactions with your team, share ideas, and feel the buzz of what youre all creating!
At a glance, youll be great with:
- Pro?ciency in Langchain JS, LangGraph JS, Typescript
- Demonstrable experience building Multi Agent AI Systems
- Hands-on experience with major LLM providers such as OpenAI
- Experience in designing and implementing web applications
- Strong understanding of AI ethics and data privacy principles
- Knowledge of best practices in secure software development
- Front-End Development and CSS skills
If youve got any experience with the following- commercial or personal- it would be very useful:
- Experience with Svelte Kit, Supabase, and Postgres
- Familiarity with Effect TS
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud)
- Understanding of basic information security principles
- Awareness of GDPR and its implications for AI and data handling (preferred)
