You will join as an IT Desktop Support Analyst at their Nottingham head office, providing expert IT Support on both a remote and hands-on basis to end users.

Description

  • The role will largely operate at a 2nd Line level, where you will provide expert technical support to the company's userbase on both a hands-on and remote basis.
  • As part of an established team of 3 in the IT Desktop Support Analyst function, you will troubleshoot issues through to resolution, and escalate to the internal infrastructure team where required.
  • You will cover a range of technologies, predominantly Microsoft-based, as well as supporting a wide variety of hardware, including PCs, laptops and mobile devices for approx. 500 users.
  • The business have a cloud-first strategy, so you will gain a significant level of exposure to Azure, EntraID and Office365.
  • Unlike many roles at this level, a ky benefit with this opportunity is that the company are in-sourcing much of their IT from another provider, so you will gain a unique experience as part of an IT team that is genuinely building something for the future, rather than outsourcing to. 3rd party.

  • The business has approx. 10 sites throughout Nottingham that the IT team supports, and whilst most of the role will be dedicated to one head office site, you may be required to travel to other satellite sites when needed.

Profile

As the successful candidate for the IT Desktop Support Analyst role, you will be experienced at a 2nd Line level in the following technologies:

  • Windows 10 / 11
  • Active Directory - DNS / DHCP
  • Office365
  • EntraID
  • InTune

In addition, you will have excellent hardware support experience of:

  • PCs, laptops
  • Printers and peripherals
  • Mobile devices, both iPhone and Android
