I'm currently partnering with a forward thinking organisation about to embark on a series of tech based projects. As such they are looking for a commercially astute and data driven Principal Solutions Architect to join their friendly and professional team.

The Principal Solutions Architect is an integral part of a services-oriented team, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to understand challenges, design solutions, and occasionally implement them. This hands-on role is perfect for a self-motivated, multitasking individual who excels at communication and thrives in meeting client expectations.

The goal of the team is to foster strong, trusted partnerships with clients and colleagues alike. The Principal Solutions Analyst will take on a diverse range of tasks to contribute to successful outcomes and drive value for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with clients and internal teams, set clear expectations, and provide regular progress updates.
  2. Clear Documentation: Record findings and insights in a clear and concise manner that can be shared across teams.
  3. Creative Problem Solving: Analyse and brainstorm potential solutions, evaluating their effectiveness and applicability.
  4. Commercial Awareness: Ensure that proposed solutions are practical, achievable, and deliver value within established frameworks.
  5. Time Tracking: Accurately track time spent on various initiatives to ensure proper project and resource management.
  6. Transparent Reporting: Provide regular updates to support project time-lines and overall reporting cycles.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Seek out opportunities for improvement in processes, products, and services.
  8. Leadership: Provide guidance and support to colleagues to ensure team objectives are achieved.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Ability to analyse complex requirements and propose effective solutions.
  2. Experience working with large data sets and extracting valuable insights.
  3. Understanding of complex systems and processes in relevant industries.
  4. Ability to define and manage processes for solution implementation or workarounds.
  5. Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to juggle multiple priorities.
  6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt messaging to various audiences.
  7. Ability to remain calm under pressure and navigate uncertainty or tight deadlines.
  8. Flexible and adaptable, with a strong commitment to delivering value and going the extra mile for clients.
  9. Ability to build strong relationships and foster trust with both internal and external stakeholders.
