A growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) dedicated to delivering exceptional IT support and solutions to small and medium-sized businesses. As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a talented 3rd Line IT Engineer to join our team and play a key role in delivering exciting projects and supporting & maintaining clients' IT infrastructure.

The Role

As 3rd Line IT Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical support, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems for our clients. You will work across a variety of environments, providing infrastructure solutions that include servers, storage, networks, security, and cloud services. This is a hands-on role with a focus on delivering a wide range of complex rollout, refresh, and upgrade projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for server, network, and cloud infrastructure across multiple client sites.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and networking.
  • Manage installations, upgrades, and migrations of client IT systems.
  • Monitor system performance, ensuring reliability, security, and high availability.
  • Implement infrastructure solutions that meet client needs, including on-premise, cloud, and hybrid setups.
  • Assist with security implementation, including firewalls, backups, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Document IT processes, configurations, and support procedures.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to provide proactive and reactive support, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed.

Technical Requirements

  • MSP experience is ESSENTIAL
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Servers, Active Directory, and virtualisation technologies (VMware or Hyper-V).
  • Familiarity with networking technologies such as firewalls, switches, VPNs, and wireless networks.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and Office 365.
  • Experience with VEEAM, or similar backup technologies
  • Experience with Intune or Autopilot
  • Experience with SAN or NAS storage devices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
