Dewey Group is looking for an experienced Estimator to join our client's growing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in piling and/or ground engineering. This is a permanent position based in the Midlands, with flexible working options available subject to experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage estimates for various piling and ground engineering projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
- Analyse project requirements and specifications to develop detailed cost estimates.
- Participate in tender reviews and provide input on project planning and budgeting.
- Monitor and update cost databases to reflect current market conditions and trends.
Experience in the following areas is highly desirable:
- Rotary Piling
- CFA Piling
- Sheet Piling
- Mini Piling
- Ground Engineering
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the piling and/or ground engineering industry.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
