Our client is a Highley respected National Broker with access to all UK, Lloyds and Global Markets and Now due to continue growth they are looking for a Commercial Broker who is able to broke risks to the Market, Handle new Business and Renewals

Given the profile of clients you will be dealing with, you will have extensive knowledge of the commercial broking market and be very comfortable dealing with senior business directors.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the business at senior level and play an integral part in the ambitious growth plans they have in place for the future.

Responsibilities:

  • Marketing risks to Insurers for New Business and renewals Preparing market documentation, with assistance from broking staff in terms of marketing strategy
  • Preparing policies where appropriate and send to producers for approval
  • Assisting in preparing presentations to clientele
  • Reviewing submissions from producers
  • Broking to Local and other relevant markets
  • Ensuring that all market documentation is closed in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Keeping track of impending renewals, requesting up to date information in sufficient time to enable terms to be obtained
  • Assessing the needs of the client and service as appropriate across all areas of the business

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Extensive experience within Broker, having worked on a varied cross class basis
  • Knowledge of relevant products and approving regulatory / statutory requirements for the classes of business
  • Excellent communication skills
