As a Subsidence Claims Handler, you will play a crucial role in supporting valued clients by handling and settling subsidence claims across both domestic and commercial properties. Your responsibilities will include interpreting technical data, reviewing investigation information, and creating customer-friendly documents.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Manage a caseload of subsidence claims, ensuring clients are kept informed throughout the process.
- Communicate effectively with policyholders, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues that arise.
- Negotiate appointments and settlements, demonstrating strong relationship-building skills.
- Collaborate with all parties involved to ensure a smooth claims process.
- Maintain detailed documentation and ensure swift settlements wherever possible.
Candidate Requirements:
- You will be an experienced Subsidence and/or Property Claims Handler.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A customer-first mentality, with the ability to empathize and understand client needs.
- Good IT skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to travel for training and meetings as needed.
In return, you will receive a basic salary up to £30,000, you will reside in or around the Nottingham area, depending on your experience level, will depend on how frequent you need to attend the office location.
