New temporary Bank Reconciliation Clerk Opportunity!

Are you experienced in bank reconciliation and cash allocation and management? Do you have a track record clearing unallocated cash and cleansing accounts receivable ledgers and looking for an opportunity to utilise those skills to support my Nottinghamshire based client for a period of 3-6 months on a temporary assignment? Then this is the assignment for you!

About the Role:

The role is full time based on 35 hrs per week and hybrid with the opportunity to work 2 days from home. You will join a busy finance department and sit within the Credit Control team of 8, reporting into the Credit Manager. As a bank reconciliation Clerk, you will be responsible for spear heading a project to clear millions of pounds of unallocated cash. It will require a determined, dedicated and investigative mind who enjoys solving problems and able to work in a self-sufficient manner to complete this project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Your main responsibility will be unallocated cash review.
  • Investigating old and live accounts.
  • Investigating sales invoices and ensuring the correct information has been issued and documented.
  • Bank reconciliation.
  • Cash posting and allocation of receipts from customers.
  • Providing support to the wider finance team as needed.

Ideally you will have:

  • Previous experience of bank reconciliation, cash allocation and accounts receivable processes.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent numeracy skills.
  • Confident with basic Microsoft Excel tasks.
  • Dynamics 365 -desirable.
