I am looking for a Software Commissioning Engineer to work on-site in Nottingham.
This role is in the Water Treatment industry and may well extend longer than the initial 3 months.

Location: Nottingham (with potential travel to other UK sites)
Rate: 350 per day (Outside IR35)
Duration: 3 Months (with possibility of extension)

About the Role:
I am currently seeking an experienced Software Commissioning Engineer for a 3-month contract outside IR35. The role will be based in Nottingham with occasional travel to other sites across the UK (Ipswich). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commissioning Schneider / Rockwell Automation PLCs, specifically in the water treatment sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commissioning and programming of Schneider Electric and Rockwell PLCs on water treatment projects.
- Ensuring the successful installation, testing, and configuration of software systems for water treatment applications.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during the commissioning process.
- Working closely with project teams to ensure all work meets customer requirements and industry standards.
- Documenting all commissioning activities and providing support for future maintenance.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Software Commissioning Engineer in the water treatment industry.
- Strong proficiency with Schneider Electric and Rockwell Automation PLCs.
- Experience in commissioning and programming software for complex systems.
- Knowledge of the water industry and its specific requirements for automation and control systems.
