Job Title: Goods Inwards/Internal Logistics
Job Purpose: The efficient receipt and movement of incoming deliveries. Efficient storage
and supply of materials to meet the needs of production.
Key Duties
* Ensuring that the Stores is a safe working environment.
* Keeping record of shipping documents of incoming Goods.
* Supporting Quality Department on inspection of incoming goods
* Ensuring new parts are signed off by all departments and storing the records of in- spection.
* Ensuring the efficient storage of stock as well as accurate stock records.
* Ensuring the right procedure is implemented when goods are being returned.
* Providing daily support to the internal Stakeholders requests.
* Production requisitions fulfilment
* Stock replenishing for regular production
* Loading and unloading vehicles.
* Control and checks of stock at partner locations.
* Ensuring external stock deliveries are being requested in line with production needs.
* Maintain the consumables stock levels and flag any shortages with Purchasing.
Skills and Attributes:
* Able to maintain good working relationships internally and externally.
* Working knowledge of Health & Safety and Quality management systems.
* Able to prioritise own workload.
* Good understanding of Microsoft Office Package.
* Able to lift awkward loads.
* Able to work in varying temperatures.
* Excellent attention to details.
Qualifications And Experience Levels:
* Good standard of general education.
* Fork Lift Truck (Counterbalance and Reach) license.
* Understanding of Microsoft Office package, and ERP System.
