About the Role:

As an Assistant Town Planner, you will be involved in a variety of planning projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and work alongside experienced professionals in the field. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the preparation of planning applications and reports.

  • Conducting site appraisals and preparing technical assessments.

  • Liaising with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders.

  • Researching and preparing planning documents in line with relevant policies and legislation.

  • Supporting senior team members in managing planning applications through to decision stage.

About You:

We are looking for someone with a degree or equivalent qualification in Town Planning or a related field, ideally with some experience in a planning-related role. The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • A good understanding of planning legislation and policies.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and planning software (such as AutoCAD, GIS, or similar).

  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work well within a team.
