Location: Nottingham

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Planner to join a busy team based in Nottingham. My client are working on a range of strategic and other sites, including a number of nationally significant infrastructure projects, and numerous other large-scale residential and commercial schemes across England and Wales.

My client have a vacancy for an enthusiastic, ambitious planner who wants to work collaboratively in support of senior Directors, but also has the initiative and confidence to work independently and take on more responsibility as they expand their knowledge and skills.

Your role will consist of the following:

- site finding and initial assessment

- local plan representations and promotion

- pre-application engagement with LPAs (and the public)

- coordinating ES and submission of applications

- negotiating S106 agreements

- work post-consent to efficiently enable implementation.

The ideal candidate will have some relevant experience in the private or public sector, and might be working towards MRTPI (or have recently achieved it).
