Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be working with a large consultancy, with offices across the UK on the hire of an Associate Town Planner. This is a full-time and permanent position and will be based in the company's Nottingham office.

The successful Associate Planner will work closely with senior staff and lead on projects and provide the following services to your clientbase;

-development management project work

-local plan representations

-site promotion

-appeals.

In addition, you will also be expected to assist Directors with the day-to-day management of the office and supervise junior members of the planning team. You will also be offered a high degree of client interface and the opportunity to attend networking events in order to grow your personal contacts and promote the company. You should therefore be self-motivated and will be excited by the prospect of developing your client base and making a real contribution to the growth of the business.

My client is looking to hear from qualified Town Planners with substantial professional experience (preferably in private-sector consultancy or a mixture with public sector and client-side roles). Candidates should have a postgraduate qualification in Planning and be MRTPI.
