Graduate Town Planner - Nottingham

We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Town Planner to join a dynamic planning consultancy based in Nottingham. This is a fantastic chance for someone with a keen interest in shaping the built environment and contributing to a range of planning projects across both urban and rural settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals.
  • Support senior planners in providing planning advice to clients.
  • Conduct site assessments and environmental analyses.
  • Engage with local authorities and stakeholders to ensure planning processes are followed efficiently.
  • Help prepare planning reports, policy assessments, and environmental impact assessments.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A relevant degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • An interest in local planning issues and current policies.
  • Able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with planning software (e.g., GIS or AutoCAD).
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
