Job Title: Commercial Lawyer (In-house)PQE: 3+Location: NottinghamshireSalary: Up to £65,000Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Lawyer with a strong foundation in commercial contract drafting / negotiation to join their dynamic team. This role would suit an individual who thrives under pressure and excels in fast-paced environments. The successful candidate will need the ability to pivot quickly, maintain resilience, and a drive to challenge the status quo.Role overview:As a Commercial Lawyer you will:
  • Review, negotiate, draft and advise on a wide range of supplier and business partnership contracts for all areas of the Group’s businesses including commercial, supply chain, concessions, events, marketing, ecommerce, franchising and licencing, IT & technology, outsourcing and finance
  • Offer pragmatic legal solutions for digital marketing, IP, and regulatory compliance.
  • Handle commercial disputes and litigation.
  • Assist on M&A transactions including conducting due diligence investigations and post-completion support
  • Supervise junior team members.
Candidate:
  • Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years’ experience.
  • Strong experience in Commercial contract drafting / negotiation.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of an organisation.
  • Able to provide commercially focused, pragmatic legal advice.
  • A collaborative approach.
  • Ambitious and looking to develop their career with a global PLC
