Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working exclusively with a leading manufacturer in Nottingham, to recruit an ambitious, forward thinking Quality/QHSE Manager.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the QHSE Manager will lead and enhance the organization's quality, health, safety, and environmental management processes. This role involves strengthening the QHSE systems to meet exceptional product standards, ensure workplace safety and sustainability, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Duties & Responsibilities;

  • Continued development of the site’s QMS system so that it complies with ISO standards
  • Maintain a consistent format for Policy – Procedure – Standard Operating Instructions
  • Target and reduce internal causes of None Conforming Product, including rework of product, involving production personnel where necessary to create sustainable improvements
  • Ensuring all supplier material documentation is maintained & verified against relevant standards
  • Ensure all gauges and measuring equipment are maintained within calibration deadlines using bespoke supplier database module
Requirements -
  • Experience of complying with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and lean manufacturing principles
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
