We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Administrator to join our client's team in Nottingham City Centre. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a legal environment, with potential for training and growth. While previous legal experience is preferred, it is not essential; candidates with a strong administrative background are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing Legal Aid applications and dealing with amendments.
  • Processing invoices in accordance with office procedures.
  • Online diary management, to include hearings, filing dates etc.
  • Ensuring hearings/ meetings are flagged for allocation.
  • Chasing outstanding documents.
  • Drafting basic court documents and standard letters.
  • Setting up client appointments.
  • Liaising with clients, the courts, and other professionals both in person, by email, and by telephone.
  • Opening and closing files.
  • Taking minutes of meetings.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a legal environment is preferred, but candidates with solid administrative experience will be considered.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
