An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Legal Secretary to join a very successful firm in the legal sector. Based in their Nottingham Office, you will be providing administration support to the Conveyancing Team who deals with high volume workloads.

To be considered for the Legal Secretary role, you’ll require the following:

  • Current or recent experience working as a legal secretary ideally within conveyancing
  • Proven experience of audio typing/copy typing
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications and case management system
  • Confident & professional telephone manner
  • Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Strong organisational skills with fantastic attention to detail

The successful candidate will have had experience within the legal sector in an administrative capacity, used to supporting fee earners in a busy practice.

Within this Conveyancing team, you’ll also be:

  • Handling incoming calls in a professional manner
  • Taking messages accurately & passing them on the relevant person/department
  • Liaising with clients via phone, email and face to face
  • Managing diaries for the fee earners, making appointments & arranging meetings
  • Opening and monitoring case files within the CRM system
  • Preparing correspondence and documents through audiotyping
  • Providing support to other secretaries where required
  • Carrying out general admin duties such as scanning, photocopying, printing, and filing
  • Carrying out any ad hoc duties under the fee earners instructions

Salary & Working Hours and Benefits

Salary is £23,000 - £27,000 per annum

Working hours are Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
