Conservatory, Window and Door Service Engineer and Installer

Monday to Friday 40 Hours Per Week

Our client are a leading installer of conservatories, orangeries, double glazing windows, living spaces and doors throughout Nottingham. Their focus is to deliver an exceptional service to their customers.

They are excited to offer a great opportunity for a Service Engineer, to join as an ambassador for the business whilst providing excellent customer service, through resolving issues and completing service checks on their conservatory roofs, windows and doors.

Role Responsibilities

  • To be responsible for resolving manufacturing or fitting issues with their conservatory roofs, solid roofs, windows and doors;
  • To provide excellent customer service;
  • To install single doors and windows;
  • To provide written documentation of the outcome of the service call detailing if a further visit is required;
  • To be responsible for ensuring quality work is always carried out;
  • To support Customer Services to assist with resolving production issues as and when required.

Person Attributes

  • Relevant experience in servicing Ultraframe conservatory roofs, Guardian lightweight roofs or a similar product. Additional training will be provided.
  • Relevant experiencing in servicing UPVC windows and doors;
  • The ability to fit any miscellaneous hardware or fittings that may be required such as handles, hinges, glazing, letterboxes etc;
  • Excellent product knowledge with good problem-solving skills and the ability to identify cost efficient solutions;
  • Good customer service skills with the ability to apply a calm and polite approach when dealing with their customers;
  • A clean driving license;
  • Good communication skills with the ability to communicate both verbally and written;
  • A flexible and self-motivated individual who has a can-do approach to work with the ability to get the job done in the required timescales;
  • A willingness to undertake further training with the ability to implement learning into your daily work.
