About the Role:

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Lift Engineer to join our team, covering the Nottingham to Leicester area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic team while delivering high-quality engineering services across a variety of lift installations, repairs, and modernisation projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that all work is carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee On-Site Installations: Manage installations in a safe, efficient manner ensuring minimal disruption to clients.

Technical Site Surveys: Conduct site surveys for diagnosis and repair of lift systems.

Liaise with Sub-Contractors: Ensure subcontractors meet quality standards and comply with all Health & Safety requirements.

Client Liaison: Conduct surveys and communicate with customers to agree on the scope of works.

Modernisation Projects: Oversee and manage lift controller rewiring and modernisation projects.

Door Operator Replacements: Undertake replacement and installation of door operators.

Lift Drive Adaptation: Adapt and replace lift drives as required.

Workshop Support: Assist in the construction of control panels, top-of-car controls, car operating panels, and other lift components in the workshop.

Reporting & Administration: Provide regular status reports on work progress and assist with essential administrative tasks.

Team Collaboration: Work alongside the Technical Director and fellow Engineers to deliver projects.

Skills & Qualifications:

Must be NVQ 3 qualified.

Experience: Previous experience as a Lift Engineer, with hands-on knowledge of lift installations, repairs, and maintenance.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of lift systems, controls, and electrical wiring.

Health & Safety Awareness: Knowledge of relevant Health & Safety regulations and ability to manage safety on site.

Communication Skills: Ability to liaise effectively with customers, subcontractors, and the internal team.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently.

Full Driving Licence: Required for travel between customer sites.
