Our client is the UK’s leading manufacturer of knitted fabric based in Chilwell, Nottingham. We are looking for a Dispatch Supervisor to join the team. What’s in it for you / Benefits:• £13 per hour (£27k per annum)• 8am-4:30pm Monday – Thursday & 7am-1pm Friday • Immediate start• Temp to Perm• Company pension scheme• Free onsite parkingRole Overview:As the Dispatch Supervisor you will be responsible for the efficient, accurate and timely dispatch of textile goods. Reporting to the office manager, you will have one direct line reporting into you, whilst you also liaise with customers, production, drivers, and the sales team, so lots of responsibility and variety. Key Responsibilities:• Ability to reduce operational costs by optimising processes, routes and methods of shipping• Manage dispatch department and staff• Communicate with customers, freight forwarders and other departments• Organise stock control, warehouse and operational functions• Prepare all shipping documentation in line with HRMC and international trade procedures• Coordinate drivers and deliveries Skills and Experience:• Knowledge of international customs and exporting goods is essential• Previous dispatch experience is essential • Previous management/supervisory experience• Good English reading, writing and communication skillsHow to ApplyPlease click apply or send your cv to .
