Our client, a leading manufacturer of knitted fabric located in Chilwell, Nottingham, is seeking a Dispatch Supervisor.
The position offers a salary of £13 per hour, equating to £27,000 per annum, and includes benefits such as a company pension scheme and free onsite parking.
The role requires previous dispatch and management experience, along with knowledge of international customs and exporting goods.
As a Dispatch Supervisor, you will oversee the dispatch department, manage staff, and ensure efficient shipping processes.
The working hours are from 8am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 7am to 1pm on Friday, with an immediate start available.

Reporting to the office manager, you will have one direct line reporting into you, whilst you also liaise with customers, production, drivers, and the sales team, so lots of responsibility and variety. Key Responsibilities:• Ability to reduce operational costs by optimising processes, routes and methods of shipping• Manage dispatch department and staff• Communicate with customers, freight forwarders and other departments• Organise stock control, warehouse and operational functions• Prepare all shipping documentation in line with HRMC and international trade procedures• Coordinate drivers and deliveries Skills and Experience:• Knowledge of international customs and exporting goods is essential• Previous dispatch experience is essential • Previous management/supervisory experience• Good English reading, writing and communication skillsHow to ApplyPlease click apply or send your cv to .
