Procurement Manager

Mon - Friday, 8.00am - 5.30pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Manager to join our clients dynamic team. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic team player eager to shape supply chain strategies and drive efficient, cost-effective procurement processes!

You will play a key role within the Supply Chain function, reporting directly to the Operations Manager. The successful candidate will oversee all purchasing activities, ensuring high-quality materials, equipment and services are sourced effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage sourcing, negotiation and procurement of goods and services required across various functions.
  • Build and maintain productive supplier relationships, ensuring quality, reliability and compliance.
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
  • Continuously improve procurement workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Oversee vendor compliance with organisational policies and standards.
  • Prepare and manage purchasing budgets.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
  • Monitor spending and provide financial reporting on procurement activities.
  • Mitigate procurement-related risks, including supply chain disruptions.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in a similar role at a comparable level is essential
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent account management skills, including negotiation
  • Analytical skillset, with good reporting ability
