Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical processes during the pre-construction phase.
  • Develop and implement technical strategies and deliverables plans.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate technical risks on projects.
  • Ensure designs meet regulatory and technical standards (e.g., CDM, Building Safety Act).
  • Coordinate and communicate design requirements with all stakeholders.
  • Manage consultant deliverables to align with project goals and budgets.
  • Support sustainability objectives, including Net Zero targets.
  • Oversee the use of digital tools and technologies to enhance project delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership to your team, fostering growth and development.

We're looking for someone who has:

  • A BEng or MEng/MSc in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
  • Professional registration (or working towards) with CIBSE, IET, or IMechE.
  • At least 8 years of experience in a design-related engineering role.
  • Sector experience in healthcare, commercial, leisure, or similar.
  • A track record of managing projects with MEP values of £5-50M.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of digital tools and sustainability practices.
