We are looking for an impressive individual to join this forward-thinking organization on a

3 month Fixed Term Contract. Starting asap….

As Supply Planner, you will be an integral part of the Procurement team reporting into the Procurement Team Lead.

The role involves all areas of procurement, from product management, sourcing/purchasing product, and managing a network of partners ensuring best value and customer satisfaction. You will be working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders delivering a high-quality service in a professional and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate best value stock procurement maintaining lean inventory levels
  • Processing and managing purchase orders in accordance with company terms and conditions
  • Prioritize critical parts for internal/external repair to reduce purchasing spends
  • Purchase repair/engineering parts requirements
  • Resolve any inbound supplier queries within 48 hours
  • Establishing relationships with a global supply chain ensuring best value and compliance whilst promoting strong ethical and co-operative values
  • Processing purchase orders in accordance with company terms and conditions
  • Update and maintain parts records

The ideal candidate:

  • You will have procurement, product analyst and/or purchasing experience
  • Demonstrably strong negotiation and inter-personal skills
  • Good commercial acumen and awareness of financial & budgetary terms
  • Experience using ERP systems, Microsoft Excel and/or web based ordering systems
  • Strong relationship management skills
