Duties:

  • Oversee day-to-day driver operations, ensuring punctuality, compliance, and performance. Manage absences, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions where needed. Provide ongoing driver training to maintain safety and legal compliance.
  • Track and manage driver absences, conducting return-to-work interviews, and collaborating with HR to enforce absence policies consistently.
  • Conduct timely investigations into incidents, policy breaches, or complaints, and produce detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Monitor driver's hours and compliance with Tachograph regulations, analysing data to address infringements, and ensure legal adherence.
  • Use WTS for workforce scheduling and optimisation, ensuring drivers are efficiently assigned and staffing levels meet operational needs.
  • Manage fleet performance using OptiFleet, optimising fuel efficiency and vehicle usage while providing feedback to drivers to improve safety and driving behaviour.
  • Oversee safe and efficient yard operations, manage vehicle movement, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and address any operational issues.
