An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse First Line Manager role in a new Customer Fulfilment Centre. This role is integral to the operations of a leading third-party logistics and supply chain solutions provider, operating across diverse industry sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing colleagues and agency staff across the site within a 24/7 warehouse operation. What you'll do:

As a Warehouse First Line Manager, your role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth operations within our new Customer Fulfilment Centre. You'll be at the forefront of managing warehouse space efficiently, ensuring products are received, replenished, picked and dispatched in line with agreed service levels. Your excellent organisational skills will be crucial in supporting the delivery of our Business Plan, setting achievable targets for your team, and driving continuous improvement across the department. With your strong leadership skills, you'll manage performance within your team, ensuring operational targets are met consistently. In addition, you'll step up in the absence of the Warehouse Shift Manager, demonstrating your adaptability and commitment.

  • Manage warehouse space to receive, replenish, pick and dispatch products in line with agreed service levels
  • Ensure adherence to all Legal, Health and Safety, Food Safety, Working Time Directive and Operational procedures
  • Support the delivery of the Business Plan by setting and achieving specific measurable targets for the team
  • Maximise productivity and manage overtime and agency usage to improve costs
  • Communicate operational and business plans effectively to all colleagues
  • Support a culture of Continuous Improvement across the department
  • Achieve key customer service level requirements including pick and order accuracy
  • Ensure adherence to all aspects of Health and Safety and HACCP regulations
  • Manage performance of all colleagues within the team to ensure achievement of operational targets
  • Cover in the absence of the Warehouse Shift Manager
