Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our clients warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in supply chain management and logistics, demonstrating expertise in business processes and continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires effective supervision of warehouse staff, ensuring efficient shipping and receiving processes while maintaining high standards of safety and productivity.

Duties
- Manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, providing training and support to enhance performance.
- Oversee inventory management, including stock control, order fulfilment, and accurate record-keeping using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely dispatch of goods and minimising delays.
- Implement continuous improvement strategies to optimise warehouse processes and increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure seamless logistics operations, including third-party logistics (3PL) coordination.
- Utilise AS400 systems for tracking inventory levels and reporting on warehouse performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse environment.

Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role within the supply chain sector.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Experience in supervising teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and their application in a warehouse setting.
- Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and AS400 software; experience with 3PL is advantageous.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure.
