Gi Pro are excited to join forces with a global multi-site manufacturer with a long-established history, offering stability and long-term opportunities for growth. We're currently seeking electrically biased maintenance engineers to join a well experienced and efficient team, providing effective reactive and preventative maintenance, repair and servicing of plant and equipment for a state-of-the-art site.

Typical duties will involve:

  • Collaborate with the factory team to execute the site's strategic plan.
  • Use a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for planned preventative maintenance and stock control.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, servicing, and repairs.
  • Conduct reactive maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Accurately record all relevant data.
  • Drive continuous improvement across the facility to enhance capabilities.

Desirable experience:

  • Experienced in a preventative planned maintenance setting.
  • Skilled in maintaining large engineering plants and equipment.
  • Proficient in maintaining electrical equipment.
  • Capable of diagnosing faults in electrical equipment and circuits.
  • Experienced in modifying or rewiring electrical circuits.
  • Skilled in diagnosing faults in fluid power equipment and circuits.
  • Proficient in Siemens PLC fault finding.
  • Holds an apprenticeship (Level 3) in Electrical Maintenance or equivalent.
