Key Responsibilities:
This role involves responding to and fixing emergency breakdown of equipment and engaging in machine checks along with planned preventative maintenance.
Carrying out planned maintenance checks
Find and fix faults
Reset instrument controls
Following health and safety protocols at all times
Engaging in physical and repetitive lifting tasks
Installation of new equipment
Cleaning, checking and reporting of machinery condition
Able to work in a team but also on your own
Requirements:
Good timekeeping and reliability are essential
Physical fitness
Experience as someone who has already worked as a maintenance fitter
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good ability to problem solve, think on their feet and be able to follow and give clear instruction whilst working
Advantage Skills not necessarily a must:
Welding and use of cutting equipment
Forklift license
